Haiku
I love Haiku. Calling it a cousin of Imagism is insult, but yes, I like the flashes of image and thought concentrated within those 3 lines. These 2 haikus I made- one is a non-con"form"ist, i.e. it is not in the required form :) It was just an attempt at brevity and depth at once- so.
Breathing darkness, sleep
Crawls, spreading thick warmth beneath
Soft white crumpling sheets.
Feet crackle leaves,
Eyes smudge colors,
Thinking autumn walk.
Life changes rapidly,
Tube rail vanishing in a dark tunnel.
God knows what I left behind.
Soft white crumpling sheets.
Feet crackle leaves,
Eyes smudge colors,
Thinking autumn walk.
Life changes rapidly,
Tube rail vanishing in a dark tunnel.
God knows what I left behind.
